iOS Automatic SMS sending

Some time ago, I read that Apple forbids automatic sending of SMS messages on the iPhone (over SMS gateways).

Today I have studied the iOS App Store Review Guidelines and I cannot see a rule indicating a ban of automatic sent SMS messages. The only thing I see is

22.6 Apps that enable anonymous or prank phone calls or SMS/MMS messaging will be rejected

But this is not the same, an app which allows automatic sending of messages can surely prevent anonymous/prank messages.

Anyone any experience on this topic?
