I have a Big Sur MacBook M1 and an iPhone 12. I'm using the default settings which has automatic switching turned on. Most of the times I prefer default settings because over and over it seems that Apple are optimizing everything to their preferred settings.
Anyway, so I'm watching a Youtube clip in Safari on my Mac. Then I get an iMessage. My phone screen turns on, and the Youtube clip continues to play, but without audio. I then have to go to the menubar and disconnect and connect the AirPods, otherwise there is no audio for at least 30 seconds.
Is it just me having this problem? It happens every time I'm getting an email or a message or whatever that shows a notification on my phone. Is the only solution to disable automatic switching?
edit: many others seem to have the same issue..
