Automatically adding to iTunes

I have a Mac Mini set up for home sharing to various iPads and two Apple TVs with my iTunes library divided between the following:

Music - on Mac Mini
Movies - on a 3TB hard drive connected by USB
TV Shows - on a 2TB hard drive connected by USB

Is there a way that I can avoid having to add each individual movie or tv show to iTunes manually and add them automatically? I add my iTunes music via the "Automatically Add to iTunes" folder, but given that my movies and tv shows are in separate locations, is there a workaround for this?
