I have a non-wireless Linksys router (BEFSR41v2 or something) and use a wireless bridge (Linkysys WET11 801b) to connect wirelessly on my MBP C2D. Airport doesn't seem to like to connect to Ad-hoc networks by default. When I go to the terminal and type "syslog" I see time out errors or errors about how Airport is ignoring Computer-to-Computer networks. Is there anyway around this? It sucks to have to manually click on the Airport tab and select the network.

And yes I know wireless routers are cheap these days but so am I :p
