Lately, iTunes on my MacBook Air has been really irritating, continually asking me to re-enter my password. Does anyone know if there's a way to set up an auto-login? I've made sure the "Always check for automatic downloads" box is unchecked, yet I'm always prompted for a password. Seems to be because I've bought a bunch of movies and TV shows off iTunes lately, which is fine, but it'd be great if there were an automatic login option.

I would advise you to check, if the problem occurs after you reset Safari and delete the cookies / history / saved logins.
Each time, I reset Safari, iTunes prompted me to re-enter the password for my account.
I solved the problem by purchasing "Cookies" from the App Store. It allows me to clear out all Safari data, while keeping the specific cookie that seems to be crucial for retaining the iTunes login data.
Weird that such a kind of workaround is necessary. I wonder, why they save the iTunes login data in a Safari cookie.
