Recently, when my Macbook Pro is taking a while to load or it freezes (such as when it's opening a large image in Photoshop, or when Safari freezes randomly), it instantly logs itself off. It happens as soon as it stops or freezes, and it takes me to the log on screen whilst shutting down all my programmes too.
WHY IS THIS HAPPENING?! It's so irritating and I'm kinda worried as to why it's doing this... :/

Ps. If you need to know the spec:
• Summer 2010 Macbook Pro (UK)
• Mac OSX Version 10.6.6
• Processor: 2.53 GHz Intel Core i5
• Memory: 4GB 1067 MHz DDR3
• 500GB, 7200 RPM Hard Drive
