.dmg should just open by double clicking on it, not automatically

you should never do that, its a high risk operation by safari, strongly recommend to turn it off.

totally agree it has been shown to be a weak point in Safari quite a few times in the past and would never suggest trying that on.

I double click the item's icon in the downloads window and it mounts
