Is there any setting, terminal command or free app that will make fullscreen apps open immediately adjacent to the space they are in, instead of at the end after all desktops?

For instance, if I have 4 desktops and I have a Safari window open in Desktop 1 and I go fullscreen, I want the Safari fullscreen "space" to be between Desktop 1 and Desktop 2 instead of after Desktop 4. I can drag it there but I want this to happen automatically. Thanks!

System Preferences --> Mission Control
Check: "Automatically rearrange Spaces based on most recent use"

That works! I turned it off in Lion because it messed up the order of the desktops but now I don't have any apps bound to a specific desktop anymore so it doesn't matter. I still wish I could rename them though.
