Automatically set genre based on artist's genre in iTunes Music Store?

Is there a way to automatically set the genre for all my songs, based on the artist's genre in the iTunes Music Store?

Are these songs bought from iTunes, or from somewhere else? If the songs are not from iTunes (if they were, they would have the genre field filled), then you can't get what iTunes has for the file. You'd have to do it manually or find some program that does it (not sure of any).

you might find applescript to do that. http://www.dougscripts.com/ i know i've seen something that accesses the iTMS for track info. hope it helps.
