Hello to all,
My setup: Macbook Pro, osX Lion, Logic pro 9 and a Roland mc-808 Groovebox.
What I'm trying to do: Use it as a control surface to control Logic pro. It's unsupported so it's kind of a hassle to set it up correctly.
What works so far are the faders and pads to control/play samples/instruments. I can control the volume of tracks, use knobs and faders for instruments in logic.
I'm kind of happy with this setup but I was wondering if I could send the volume automation data of logic back into the MC-808, so that the motorized faders follow my sequence automation. "like a real control surface".
Any ideas on how to do this? I've been messing around in the environment, but I'm not really the expert on that.
Thanks
grtz
