I have personal automations set up to change my ENTIRE watch face to ones in MY FACES based on events. Works so great, such an awesome function and very helpful.

My question is has anyone set up an automation to toggle one complication based on an event?

My specific need is to change one of my complications to TIMER (so I can see the countdown) ONLY IF there is an active timer running?
What I want to do is: If ACTIVE TIMER, then set specific complication to TIMER, otherwise, set specific compilation to WATCH BATTERY.

I don't see an obvious way to do this, but perhaps someone with a lot more experience can let me know that this is possible, and point me in the right direction.

Thanks so much, happy new year to everyone!

Can't change complications programmatically. No Actions and nothing in the class object that allows access to complications.

you can't do it, there's no way to trigger an automation based on starting a timer,
if you could, You could just make 2 copies of the same face, and have one with timer, and one without

you might be able to do something with shortcuts, and have siri start the timer, and change the face, but I'm not sure there would be a reliable way to have it change back.
