Automator does everything at once?

Hi all,
A quick question; after playing around with automator for the first time today, I seem to have some trouble with a workflow I'm making

The workflow moves all the files from one folder to another, unzips them, and moves zipped files at the end into the trash

It works great, except it only does this for half the files, by this time, the zipped files are in the trash and cannot be accessed

Does the automator really progress through each step without waiting for the previous to finish?
