Automator help, need it to check a number of a website and that paste it into iWork

I've seen automator, tried to play with it but no clue, want and would love to use it to check a number of a website like visitor numbers or whatever (text) and save the date so i can make easy statistics with it on iWork's numbers or pages, can automator automatically do that too?

Is there a workflow store or something somewhere on the web?
