I would like to create an automator app, which would enter system settings>keyboard>check turn F1, F2, etc. into function keys, then launch StarCraft 2 (a video game), then wait for me to close/exit the game, and the once again enter settings>keyboard>uncheck turn F1, F2 etc. into function keys

This is because Starcraft has a few commands which require these keys, however while using my mac outside of gaming, i would like to have access to quickly dim/change volume/itunes, etc.

I have most of the workflow up, however, I have ran into a problem.

It gives me the option to OPEN an app (starcraft), but I cannot find a command which WAITS for me to close the game, to continue with the workflow.

Is this possible?

Side note, if it is, will it use up system memory while it is running?

For example, will it continuously check is it is open, or will it only continue when it is closed, and be rendered "inactive" while the game is up.

elp would be much appreciated!
