automator question/problem

hi, im using automator to backup my home folder to my external hard drive but recently ive been getting (NSInternalScriptError (8)) occurred in copy finder items, 3 minutes after the script is run. My first action is "Get specified finder items" and everything in my homefolder is listed. the second action is to "Copy Finder Items" to my external drive with the option "replace existing files" checked. any clue what might be happening here? thanks in advance
