Automator script gone balistic, creates loads of files on

I'm quite new to Mac, having recently purchased a MBA with Snow Leopard. I tried to make an automator script that turns my pdf files into rtf files using examples from others. However, something went awry. Each time I open an rtf file through ms word or textedit, I get loads of rtf copies on my desktop (hundreds) until I quit the application. How do I delete the script?
