Now, I've done some quick Google searching with "automator" and "smcfancontrol" in multiple combinations in an effort to find what I need. I've also searched MacRumors, but there's only a thread about a script changing the max fan speeds (which isn't what I'm looking for). Basically, what I'm looking for is a script for whenever I:
  1. Click the application.
  2. Have smcFanControl switch to whatever fan speed preference I want.
Then, after finishing what I started:
  1. Quit said application.
  2. Have smcFanControl switch back to whatever fan speed preference I had previously.
Now, I only ask this because I want to cut down on the steps I take (even if they only are 2-3 steps) before I open an application. For example, when I play World of Warcraft or other game, I set smcFanControl to change the minimum speed to 6000, and when I'm done playing, I sometimes forget to set the fan speed back.

Anyway, is what I'm asking for even possible? Thanks in advance.
