Automator (video capture)

I've got the task of putting together a workflow that will, using automator start and stop video captures.
I've tried building the work flow as the following:
New video Capture
Start Video Capture
Stop video capture
Then i save as an ical alarm.
The capture will start on time, but refuses to stop.

If anyone has an idea where the problem is in automator i would love help. If not, it seems this may require some apple scripting.
