Well, it wasn't cheap, but it's sure effective! I got AutoPano Pro over the weekend, and haven't really had a chance to try it out. While waiting for some automated processes today, I decided I'd use my crappy 640x480 cell phone to try it. Unfortunately, I'm at a customer site, so I can't share the files, but I have to say that I'm totally impressed with this software.
The first few things were just straight-line but then I did some up and down coverage and it nailed it other than one frame that had it a little confused. When I pulled that frame (mostly blank wall) out of the group, it nailed the pano. With autocrop and autocolor on, I'm psyched. I can't wait to shoot some landscapes, especially with bracketing to even out the light some and get HDR out of things.
