Autoplay website previews in Messages?

Anyone notice these? If I send a IG/Youtube/etc. link that has a video or GIF in the page it autoplays the preview.

Is there a way to turn this off?

Check to see if Auto Play Video Previews is enabled under Settings > Accessibility > Motion. I found this by typing "auto" in settings search.

It isn't. So either a bug in 14 or that only applies to certain ones.

It'd be nice to have controls over something like that, but unfortunately I'm not certain those are (or will be) actually available.

I've been looking for a way to turn this off too. I think it's just in-built into the imessage interface unfortunately.
