AutoVol is for your iOS4 ready iPhone

Allows users to save locations deemed quiet zones (movie theater, library, work, etc) and whenever the user is within range of these saved locations, AutoVol will send a text message and vibrate alert to remind you to turn down your volume or mute it.

So the app has to have GPS enabled to work?

..because every time a GPS app is enabled on my phone it sucks the battery life seriously fast. For this to be useful I have to be able to keep GPS on all the time so I don't have to think about rings or notifications disturbing other people......but if I keep GPS on all the time I have to constantly think about the battery and pay attention to the notification - which might disturb someone and is exactly what it's not supposed to do - and I still have to turn down the volume manually...is that how it works? And you want a dollar so you can make my life even more complicated?
