Aux cable of my car won't control the music

Hi,

Ive been using the iPhone 4 of my sister, and i was able to control my music from my car, from the controls of my car without touching the iPhone.

So, now i have an iPhone 4S and i can't control my music from my car like i did on the iPhone 4.

I don't know why i can't control it, because the car its new and the cable to.

Any help?

Is your aux cable your using the pin jack or the actual 30 pin cable?

In one end it has a jack and a usb and in the other end the 30 pin.

That's not really an aux cable. While that cable connects to aux in on your car it also has a USB plug. Aux cables (which connect to the headphone jack) will never control the device as the aux cable only carries audio.

That said, no idea why it's working for you. You might want to check see if there are any discussion forums for your car.

Have you tried restarting your iPhone?
