AV Cable Question. (Would like ASAP!)

Weird question for AV Cable users, and users of a AV-To-USB Converter. Has anyone tried to plug their iPhone into a AV-To-USB converter and try to record it with Windows Movie Maker?

Basically:

iPhone/iPad>>AV Cable>>AV-USB Converter>>Computer

If you can indeed record the iPhone screen this way, please post a video showing the results!

Not possible unless you have a jailbroken iphone with the special av out software. Otherwise you only get video out on videos.
