Hi,

I have a 250 GB hard drive in my macbook air. When I looked at the "Get Info" for my hard drive, it showed that I had 249 GB available, and 250 GB capacity. When I went through the "About this mac --> storage" method, it showed an accurate display of my disk space (based on what I know I have saved).

I verified the disk (it was fine) and repaired the permissions (a few things were changed), and now "Get info" is showing that I have 274 GB available and 250 GB capacity. The "about this mac" is still accurate.

I installed the most recent updates and restarted, get info is now saying that I have 282 GB available. “about this mac” is still accurate.

I’m running 10.7.2.

Any ideas why the disk info is so wrong? Should I be worried?

Thanks!
