I like a Fall release date. In Summer I am more into being outside, playing with my dogs at park, mountain biking, etc...not really thinking about new technology. But once its gets cooler and darker outside, I tend to become a hermit and play computer games more, and want new gadgets, and new tech toys, that time of year.
Between September and November. iOS 4.2 was suppose to be released last fall and we got it right before Thanksgiving. I'm thinking first or second week of October.
If the beta's aren't too buggy I plan on signing up for a developers account anyway. I want to start coding, I have a long summer ahead of me of nothing but work. Lot of free time
Fall=Fall. Quit drawing ridiculous connections betweens apple making hardware and software. iOS works on more than just the iPhone. Why don't you toss your iPhone in a lake, pick up a an android phone and we'll talk to you in a few weeks when the crappy UI and battery have you fed up. Quit your b*tching or at least keep it in the thread you already started.
Especially with a username showing how far apple's d*ck is into your throat. We know you're going to keep using your iDevices.
Sorry for being snide but seriously. Knock it off.
