For a while now, it was difficult to find, and buy the Apple Watch 42mm Stainless Steel, Space Black.
Well, it seems that Best Buy has them again. I bought mine (another), yesterday. And a few local Best Buy shops have them in stock again.

For those that don't particularly want to buy the SS with the $149 band, time to buy
