avatar converter for os x

am trying to find a freeware avatar converter for mac osx, anyone know of a good one

something i can use to resize images down to avatars to use on forums such as this. there is a lot for pc but can't find anything with mac.

You can use Graphic Converter which comes on your Mac. You should be able to resize a picture with it.

iPhoto does it if you export the pictures (using export from the share menu), iResize works great as a batch processor too.

I never noticed, but it's not on my iMac either - I always use my PB (the iMac's the family computer). You can download it here.

Yeah, there are many people here with the required tools, and it's not that hard to do.

As rdowns eluded to though, you've got a long wait before you can use it in any case...

Yeah, when the OP indicates he's looking for a freeware app, it's probably safe assumption that he's not willing nor in a position to shell out $650 for a professional piece of software simply to shrink his avatar.

That being said, it sure would do the trick!

true photoshop will do it. jee it'd be a bit rough if it didn't

and true again, have no intention of shelling out the bucks for a full version. although i am considering elements. not just for this application though.

regards my intended use of said avatars. have no fear gatekeepers of the sacred forum i have no intention of violating the rules of the 500 post cult.
if you care to re read my post you will see i said for use in forumS such as this, not this forum.
