Avatar file size

I need to know how to make an Avatar that is 10kb or less. My G4 only lets file sizes go to 32kb.

Are you taking an image and shrinking it down? What are you using? Preview has an option to target a file size. Otherwise, try ImageJ or GIMP and once you save a picture in avatar size as a JPG you shouldn't have too many problems.

I just used ImageJ to size my Avatar for here (since I just earned it last night )

Photoshop - photo

I'm using a photo and using Photoshop to shrink it but I can't get the file size below 24kb. Do I just have to make the thing SUPER TINY?

I'll try again with a different photo.
