avch (canon hf2oo) & FCE downloading problem

I'm hoping there is a quick answer, but could find it with a search.

just got FCE, was so excited to try it, but unable to download.

I'm able to get to the Log and Transfer screen, see the files at the top, play them on the player, queue them up, but keep getting a red unable to do circle.

I saw a thread about changing the HD setting , but that didn't work.

help?

I found the problem. I'll post for others in my boat:

First for AVCHD you need to have version 4.01. (I didn't)

the other fixes that cache for people are: 1) make sure you are using Log and Transfer (not capture- unless your using tape)

2) Under preferences in the L&T box (middle box, top right icon) make sure the AVCHD is in AIC and the Audio is in plain stereo. Some people also said to clear the logging autofill cache. (I did all of it)

hope this helps anyone else from doing the frantic searching I was.
