Hi all,
first post. When looking around at somewhere I thought could help me with this, MacRumors was the easy choice.
I jumped from 10.6 to 10.9. In 10.9, AVCHD, copied raw from my camera, gets bundled up in to a neat file (folder??) called, AVCHD. When I double click, it opens in QuickTime and if there are multiple clips, it gives me the option to select one of them to play. What is great about this options window is that it shows an image of the clip. I therefore know exactly what clip I want to play and never have to remember the name of the clip.
So, I have a LOT of AVCHD and would like to be able to keep the files raw (as they were copied from the camera), preview each of the clips of those files (all of them), and simply play them. At this stage, I do not need to edit at all. Ideally, I would like to leave the file structures alone and have something scan for the files/clips.
What are my options. Paid software or free, I don't mind as I've been battling with this for some time.
Really hoping you can help.
Cheers
