Is it importable and/or playable via the camera connection kit?

If not, can I transfer it to my iPad and then to my Mac?

TIA

I have the newer US model, the ZS-7, and it will not recognize my videos. I need to import to my MBP and then convert it to an iPad friendly format.

I know it sort of sucks. We were hoping to review a couple videos from our recent vacation once we got back to our hotel room.

You can set the ZS-7 to record in Motion-JPEG format iso AVCHD lite (you do need a Class 6 or faster SD card though and the files will be quite a bit larger) and it will work fine. There is no difference in quality at all and as an added benefit, you won't need the ugly conversion step when editing in iMovie or FCP/FCE either.
