Avchd..

I might go for this cam Sony HDR CX 520VE..

However I haven't tried any cam's with avchd and I am alittle worried about it. Is it a big no no? I mean I can see avchd isn't great with mac!

Is there any other than Sanyo that makes AVC/mpeg4/iframe cam's for mac? I might not be interested in Sanyo since they don't have image stabilation - or can imovie 09 correct that?

Final Cut (Express and Pro) and iMovie are able to import AVCHD footage and convert it to something edible (or editable).
