iPod touch avi files? to get to touch

I have a video of my dads car dynoed and i want to get it to my ipod but i cant seem to get it over. Its a avi file do you guys know anything on how to( and girls).

If you've got a PC try http://www.xilisoft.com. They do some great conversion software - i bought the video conversion software that allows me to convert AVI to MP4 that can play on the IPT - it's great and cost $35.
