Hello,

I use ViewNX2 to add metadata tags for photos (Toddler, newborn, year, activity etc..) I am able to search on this information using spotlight. I would like to do the same for my home movies.

I'm looking for a tool that allows me to edit metadata for .avi, .mov, .m4v files AND that makes the information available for searches.

I have found several tools (SimpleMovieX, MetaZ/X, iDentify, iFlicks, Magic media marker, Subler) but none of them either are a) easy to use b) allow me to edit all three file-types c) after I add some data it isn't searchable? [SimpleMovieX appears to it all but only data that has the spotlight field is searchable.)

Thanks,

James
