AVI to Divx...sound is corrupted on player?

Well I've had this happen to me a few times with a few different files. I burn the AVI file with Toast as a Divx file onto a disc then take the disc to my PS3 and the video plays ok, but the sound is all corrupted, like it's too fast. Does anyone know what I can do to solve this issue?
