Hello,

I'm trying to burn an AVI file to DVD (to play on a DVD player). The picture plays fine but I'm getting a 'stuttering' audio track.

Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

- I'm using Toast 10 as my burning software
- The audio plays fine when viewed in Quicktime on my Mac
- The original AVI file is 1.24GB
- I'm burning to a 4.7GB DVD-R using a HL-DT-ST DVDRW GA11N drive.

Yes I am using Toast to convert the AVI file to DVD.

I'm simply dragging the AVI file into toast and then it converts it before burning.

I have done this before, in the past, without any problems at all but this time it doesn't want to work.

How would you suggest I do it?

I would use Movie Gate or Visual Hub. If Toast is what you use then lets try once more. Instead of burning to disc have Toast save it as a disc image. Mount the image and play it with DVD Player app. Still have audio issues?
