I've got a alu PowerBook G4 and need to convert some avi movies to iso so I can burn and play on UK DVD player?

I'm pretty useless in this area so can anybody offer advice on any free software which will convert and burn these files to a disc, or even any alternative methods.

Many Thanks

Rich

Burn can make video DVDs, no need to convert to .iso files, as .iso files are just images of a CD or DVD and have nothing to do with the playability of video.

Burn will make you a nice little video DVD, but know, that commercial video DVDs have 8.5GB (7.9GiB) capacity (Dual Layer), thus more video and less compression is used. If you use a Single Layer (4.7GB/4.37GiB) DVD and burn a 90min+ film on it, the quality will look worse the longer the movie is.

MRoogle on ".avi to dvd"
