Avi video not playing sound

im trying to play an avi video but im not getting any sound. the video works but no sound. which plug-in do i need? i downloaded divx fusion.

I think the DiVX decoder is all you need. I'm not sure what Divx Fusion is.

Try downloading VLC and using that to play your avi files. That actually the best avi file player for the Mac IMO. Its a free download from www.versiontracker.com

Just do a search for vlc and it should be the first search result.
