avi with wma

How can I watch avi files with wma audio tracks? Even VLC doesn't play it.

with virtual pc unfortanatly i have had so luck with sparks and quick time pro but not alot

Do a search at MacUpdate.com... I saw an MS-AVI plugin for QuickTime a few days ago. Not sure how well it works, though.

as dricci said, there should be something like an ms-mpeg4 codec (actually two) for quicktime. if that does not work, you can try mplayer (http://www.fi.muni.cz/~xpridal/mplayerosx/) which is supposed to have basic windows media support. a thousand curses to those proprietary formats...
