Avid Media Composer on an iMac

Hey Everyone,

I use Avid Media Composer and XPress Pro at my work.

I want to purchase an NLE for home use. Avid Media Composer v3 only costs $295 with the educational discount. However Avid's website only gives out documentation on MacPros and MacBookPros.

anyone know if Avid MC will run on an aluminum iMac 20" with ATI 128?

please no one respond with "just buy Final Cut instead", my work is Avid based.

According to this Avid document it doesn't look like your iMac is supported w/Avid MC v3.
