Avid has released new prosumer NLE for Windows. Reminds me of the old Pinnacle Liquid days.

Looks pretty good, especially with the vfx and magic bullet plugins included. Makes FCE look old and under powered (which I guess it is...)

Hot. I'd consider buying a Mac version if they come out with one. I work on Media Composer every day and would love to have a simple inexpensive version of Avid at home just to mess around with.
