AVPlayer can't send mkv video to ATV via AirPlay?

So I bought AVPlayer last night. Frikkin' best iPhone app on the store as far as I'm concerned in terms of utility. Plays all my 720p mkv with dual audio/subs on the iPhone. For those who don't know it's a legit app and is on iTunes. No JBing required. Finally I don't have to convert all my MKVs to m4v format.

My video won't play on ATV though. ATV won't recognize MKV video via AVPlayer + AirPlay hey? Damn. Guess ATV is still crippled.

What's the best MKV ATV2 solution? Still only FireCore / Plex only?

Air player on the app store is pretty freekin awesome. It will convert your MKV's, avi's etc on the fly while it streams it to ATV2, no jbing required.
