Since I got so much good advice about my last purchase (although I didn't take it until a year and a half after), I'll pose another question... Apple Watch 10 now or wait for Series 11? I have Series 4, and there are some days the battery just doesn't cut it & I have to use low power mode to finish off the day. Six years seems like I've had a good run, but I just don't know that (battery aside) a new watch offers that much more. I have the money for it, so that's not the issue; I'm just wondering if there's anything out there that indicates that Series 11 will have any groundbreaking or oh-so-swell features. Has anyone read something about it (S11) that I've missed?

There's no guarantee that if you buy the Watch 11 you won't miss some new feature on the Watch 12... Buy a new watch when you need it, new features could be added with each new watch so no matter what, your watch will be replaced by a newer version.

Yea, I keep telling myself that... Good advice - thanks!

Series 11 may have some form of blood pressure monitoring. Other than that no changes are expected. Apple may also add an additional colour option.

I upgraded from Seres 5 to Series 10. Very happy with my purchase. It is a wonderful watch. When upgrading from a Series 4, one significant change will be the always on display. I love it. Some turn it off.

Cannot go wrong by purchasing a Series 10 today.

My AW is a S6, and has blood oxygen monitoring. I actually use that on occasion. That's one reason I haven't bought a new one. So far it does everything I want it to do.

I'll hang on as long as I can before buying a new Watch. Hopefully Apple will work out the blood oxygen issue before I need to upgrade.

I question if Apple is even trying to work out the Blood Oxygen thing. I miss it. I bought a device that clips on the end of your finger. After I got over long covid I see little use for it anymore

I feel like they are going to wait until the patent ban is over or Masimo decides to end the ban. I searched high and low for an Ultra 2 with the sensor still activated.

You have series 4, and if that's all you need definitely wait for series 16, or even 17! Why get exactly the same watch while Series 4 is exactly the same as 10 - NOT -:)))) It's a night and day difference between 4 and 10 my friend. Yes they might look alike but technically it's completely different machine, faster and way more refined, better screen and all. Have fun with new 10 series and don't think what will come next, as always something better will be out in the next model. That's how I think, but it may or may not work for you, to each their own.

If you want a watch now, then buy the Series 10 in a hurry. Why wait? Do you truly believe Series 11 will have groundbreaking new unique-in-the-world magic hyper tech that will make series 10 and under obsolete the day of the launching? Don't fall in the FOMO trap and postpone until Watch XX. I just upgraded from a SE2 which is in mint condition with 94 battery for a Series 9 45mm. I wanted a bigger display, O2 reading and ECG. Of course I have the buyer's remorse but I count on the fact it will fade away. And yes, I keep my little SE2 with me.
