AW 7 SS in 2023 at discount or new S9?

I have been wanting a SS watch in 45 mm size due to it being premium build with sapphire screen (hate scratches).

I can get the S7 SS Graphite with milanese loop for the same price as the regular S9 Aluminum LTE watch - but is S7 a dumb choice going forward in 2023?

Should I rather spend 50% more and get the Ultra 2 e.g. with the same durability?
