Aw display won't stay on!

apple watch series 2 running watch os 3.1.

When I tap to wake, the display only stays lit for 3-4 seconds. In settings I set it to stay on 15 seconds. I even tried setting it to stay on for 70 seconds. Still turns off. Often, it turns off even with my finger still touching the display.

If I power cycle, it stays on correctly for a while... but within a day it reverts back to the quick display turn off.

Anyone else having this problem?

I am having the exact issue. I also tried the same things you have tried. It's stinks, I just switched to apple and had to buy the phone to get the watch. Both have been having issues. ((
