So the last time my AW measured VO2 max during workouts is April 2018. Hasn't recorded a single entry since and we are now in March of 2020. My partner showed me his and he has entries every single time we did an outdoor walk/run workout. We both upgraded to the AW5 back in September 2019 and that did not even start recording instances of VO2 max for me, but it did for him. So that's how many months of lost data in this category? Not happy.

Anyone else have this problem? Unpairing and repairing does not work either, I've done it.

Where can I find this? I see it under trends in the Activity app. I did not know it tracked it per workout.

Are you and your partner working out together and selecting the same activity in the watch?

Why is there no VO2 max data in the Health app?
If you can’t find any VO2 max readings in the Health app, that is probably because you have not yet logged the right kind of workouts with your watch. Only two workout types can produce an estimated VO2 max on Apple Watch: Outdoor Walk and Outdoor Run.

VO2 max relates to maximal exertion. So you’ll need to log a pretty intensive workout to generate a reading. And you’ll need to sustain it for at least 20 minutes.

It's in Apple's Health app. Yes it's tracked every workout.

Yes, Outdoor Walk.

Mine keeps saying that it doesn't have enough data to calculate. My Garmin watch that I wear on the other wrist while I run, won't calculate it unless it's an outdoor run.

I have none, zip, zero VO2 data points, and I’ve had a Watch since S0.

Health says I have no data sources. Time to hit up Mr Google...

OK, so it only works for Outdoor Walk and Outdoor Run. I use a wheelchair but hand cycle regularly. Thanks Apple...
