Hi,

I’ve just switched wrists when it comes to wearing my Apple Watch - from left to right (due to a new tattoo), problem is that the watch keeps locking - making me type in my code again and again. It’s very annoying. I’ve changed the settings (from left to right wrist), and I’ve done a hard reboot on both the watch and the phone…
Any ideas?
Thanks

Sounds like it might be, the watch locks because it can't detect being on your wrist. Maybe the ink in the old tattoo is causing an issue that the ink in the newer coverup isn't?

First thing that comes to mind is that your watch may not be tight enough on your right wrist causing the watch to keep losing contact. Try making it a tighter fit and see if that doesn’t do the trick.

Yes, you seem to be absolutely correct! I did tighten my watch and so far it seems to be doing the trick. My right wrist is a bit bigger than my left one, but tightening the armband really seems to do the trick 👍

I can’t see any reason why a tattoo would affect any of this, it never has before.
