So I got the AW S3 (GPS only) a few days ago and I seem to be missing alerts when I have the watch on Silent mode. The vibration is sometimes weak that I do not even feel it. I had the Series 2 and that vibration was very strong. Has anyone else expericened this with the Series 3?

...yes, I did go in to Watch settings and make sure the Haptic Strength is set to the max as well as Prominent Haptic is turned on.

The Only thing I can think of is if the Series 2 had a stronger haptic feedback versus the Series 3 and you're just not used to the new haptic feedback on the Series 3 being you have only owned it a few days. The only other thing I can suggest, not that this would repair the issue, but try a hard reset by holding down the digital crown and power button until you see the Apple logo.

Or..

Your haptic engine might be faulty, which you might need to make a genius appointment.

Also, if he went from an aluminum to SS watch. The SS is denser and heavier than aluminum which dampens the haptic vibrations some.

Value point. And this is true, as I used to be an aluminum owner before I upgraded to the stainless model.
