AW S5 compass stop working

Today I noticed that the compass on my AW S5 no longer working. The outer red ring keep spinning and never point to North or give me any readings

i have tired to reset my Apple Watch and uninstall/re-install the compass app on iPhone but still can’t get the compass working.

Is the built in compass permanently defected due to the Milanese loop I use (magnetic issue?)

Anyone experienced the same and have a solution for that? Many thanks

Have you actually tried it without that strap? It’s a well-known issue the magnetic straps will cause this problem. Even Apple tell you this.

Try it with band that doesn’t magnet. If its still non functional then Apple will replace it for you.
