I love that color / finish. The only thing I don't like is that red circle on the digital crown. They should choose more subtle LTE version "sign".

Too bad it's not available here in my country... well I'm still playing with an idea to "go a little bit crazy" and buy the aluminium gold Watch, instead of the usual space grey.

Not my color of choice for AW, but it’s a nice looking watch for sure. I have an old Citizen mechanical watch that color with a burgundy leather strap, which is a nice combination.

Nope. Wouldn’t want any of those. Not one tiny little bit. Thank goodness I don’t own that watch or any of those straps. I’m not jealous at all. No - really I’m not.

O.K. That didn’t work. I’ll admit it, I’m in love too. Absolutely fabulous. Congratulations on a great purchase and some really, really nice pairings. My entirely personal view is that I’m not as sure on the white pairing but the other 3 are 100% spectacular.

I already bought an S6 in SB titanium and was intending to add extra finishes to my collection with each new series release but the SS gold and the aluminium blue are really tempting me so much that I’m not sure I‘ll hold out to the next AW launch to buy a second finish. I think I’m definitely leaning towards the gold. I might just make it until next January before getting a gold but it’s 50/50 at best.

What is that sports band in photo 2? Is it a colour in the current range or something discontinued from a previous year? Same questions for the leather link in photo 4?

Funnily enough that grey band in photo 1 looks pretty similar to the grey sports band that is bundled with the s6 SB titanium. Getting use from that currently unused band of mine is clearly another reason for me to get a SS Gold s6.

Many thanks for that. The leather link is as I suspected but good to be sure, it looks as if the grey is pretty much what I got with my SB titanium so that's good, and the Nike sport loop I wouldn't have identified so your answers are much appreciated.

You do realise that you're acting as my enabler here? I can feel my resolve to wait until series 7 before buying another finish weakening by the day 😃

One very nice thing about the new gold is that its reflective enough that in most lighting conditions it doesn't clash badly with silver lugs. Here's mine with the red classic leather---I haven't been able to find any lightning conditions where the contrasting lugs actually look bad! Whew!
